Terms & Conditions

The terms that apply when you access or use TaxMunim, provided by TECHAOT TECHNOLOGIES.

Last updated: 13 October 2026

01.Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, starting a trial or using TaxMunim, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the organization you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new version.

02.The service

TaxMunim is a cloud-based practice-management platform offering modules such as client management, statutory deadlines, tasks, time, attendance and leave, billing, documents and a client portal, available on the web and as mobile apps. Available modules depend on your plan.

TaxMunim helps you organise work; it does not provide legal, tax or professional advice, and you remain responsible for your professional obligations, filings and their accuracy.

03.Accounts and security

  • Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep passwords and devices secure, and enable two-step verification where possible.
  • You are responsible for activity under your organization’s accounts and for the permissions you give your users.
  • Tell us promptly at the contact details below if you suspect unauthorised access.

04.Your data

You own the data you put into TaxMunim. You give us a limited permission to host, process and display it only to provide and support the service. You are responsible for having the right to store the data of your clients and staff, and for obtaining any consents required by law.

05.Trials, plans and payment

New organizations get a 14-day free trial. After the trial, continued use requires a paid plan.

  • Fees are as shown on the pricing page or in your order, in Indian rupees and exclusive of GST, which is added to invoices.
  • Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until cancelled.
  • If a payment fails, we may suspend the account after notice until the amount is paid.
  • Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or agreed in writing.

06.Acceptable use

You must not use TaxMunim to break the law, infringe others’ rights, send spam, upload malware, attempt to access other organizations’ data, probe or overload the service, or copy, resell or reverse-engineer it.

07.Availability and support

We aim to keep TaxMunim available and secure, but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance and will try to give notice of planned downtime. Support is available by email and phone during business hours.

08.Third-party services

Some features rely on third parties, such as payment gateways and messaging providers. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for services we do not control.

09.Intellectual property

TaxMunim, its software, design and content are owned by TECHAOT TECHNOLOGIES. These terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you, other than the right to use the service while your subscription is active.

10.Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11.Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties beyond those required by law.

12.Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the service, your breach of these terms, or data you upload without the right to do so.

13.Termination

You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated breaches of these terms. After an account ends, you have 30 days to export your data before it is deleted.

14.Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The parties will first try to resolve disputes by good-faith discussion for 30 days; unresolved disputes will be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in Surat, Gujarat, and the courts at Surat will have jurisdiction.

15.General

These terms, with any order form, are the whole agreement about the service. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. You may not transfer your account without our consent.
